Morgan Fairchild (born Patsy Ann McClenny February 3 1950) is an American actor from the United States. Through the 80s, she became a household name for her appearances on various TV series. She was known for portraying a glamorous persona. Fairchild began her career in the CBS daytime soap opera Search for Tomorrow as Jennifer Pace between 1973 and 1977. After appearing in Dallas, where she portrayed Jenna Wade as the very first actor in primetime and then moved to the NBC show Flamingo Road. For this performance, she won for a Golden Globe Award in 1980 for the Best Actress - Television Series - Drama. She co-starred with ABC in the short-lived soap Paper Dolls from 1984 and appeared as Jordan Roberts in Falcon Crest between 1985 and 1986. Fairchild also appeared in the stage, and also in guest roles on television programs like Murphy Brown and Roseanne Cybill. Fairchild was also nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award in 1985 due to her performance in the show. She sits as a member of the board of SAG-AFTRA.
