Summer Glau
The first time she appeared on TV was as a guest actor in the episode in 2002 of Angel. The director who spotted her was JossWhedon who then picked her to play River Tam in the critically-acclaimed TV series Firefly. The role she played was played for the feature film sequel of Serenity. Glau had previously tried to audition for the role of a Power Ranger (White Wild Force Ranger Alyssaenrile) in Power Rangers Wild Force but lost to actress Jessica Rey before meeting Whedon.Glau appeared on the episode "Love Conquers Al" of the TV series Cold Case. From season three, she was a recurring role. Glau also appeared on Mammoth which is a horror film. Glau appeared in The Initiation of Sarah, an ABC Family TV film. Glau played Cameron Phillips who was a Terminator-infiltrating unit that was returned to Skynet to defend John Connor (and Sarah Connor). The seventh episode of the show, "The Demon Hand" included a number of scenes that featured Glau, in character as Cameron is seen dancing ballet. In the second season's episodes "Allison From Palmdale" (season 2), Glau played Allison Young her human doppelganger. Glau was also in an episode of The Big Bang Theory, which is a CBS comedy that focuses on situations.
